Directions to Our Nov. 12th Field Trip Sites:Hunters Creek Park and Kenneglenn Nature Preserve

Trip details:
     - We will be out in it, rain or shine. I know you want to look good, but dress for the weather. The trails are muddy at this time of year.
     - In the event of dangerous weather, I will email your UB email address by 8 AM. Check. Your. Email!
     - Wear shoes/boots that can get wet and muddy.
     - Bring a lunch that you can eat on the trail.
     - Bring binoculars and a field guide to wildflowers, trees/shrubs, birds, if you have them. There will be opportunities for extra credit on this trip.
     - Location: Wales, NY
     - From North Campus, this drive will take approximately 40 minutes.
     - Plan to arrive by 9:45. The trip will run until between 2 and 3 PM.

We will be meeting at the Hunters Creek parking lot on Centerline Road.
Here are the directions:
1. Take the I-290 E to exit 51-61 to merge onto I-90 W toward Erie – go 7.6 mi

2. Take exit 54 to merge onto NY-400 S toward E Aurora/W Seneca/NY-16 – go 13.0 mi

3. Take the U.S. 20 A/NY-78 exit toward E Aurora     (Be careful – as you drive down the 400, you will pass an exit prior to this one that also says NY-78, but notice that it is for Transit Rd. Do NOT exit the 400 at Transit Rd. Continue on until you reach the exit for 20A/NY-78/East Aurora) – go 0.3 mi to the bottom of the exit ramp
 
4. Turn left onto NY-78 S/U.S. 20A E/Big Tree Rd - Continue on NY-78 S/U.S. 20A E/Big Tree Rd for 2.3 mi

5. Just after you pass a Yellow Goose Market on the left, turn right onto NY-78 S/Strykersville Rd.

6. Go a little over a mile, and make a right turn onto Hunters Creek Road.

7. In 1.7 miles, make a right onto Centerline Road. Go 0.8 miles to the Hunters Creek parking lot on the right hand side of the road. Look for my red Jeep.
